My Equipment

I use specialized equipment for different purposes in each of my photo or video shoots. For most portrait shoots, I use a DSLR camera with a wide aperture lens which creates that sharp look with a dreamy blurry background. But, for more vintage or specific looks, I use a classic fully manual SLR camera that uses 35mm film, also with a wide aperture lens. It creates a similar look to the DSLR but with a classic vintage twist and film grain that is impossible to replicate digitally. In video work, I record log footage on an iPhone or GoPro depending on the shot, often using a gimbal to stabilize it. Later, I color grade my footage which has more dynamic range and allows for more flexibility than if shot on standard mode.
